Here is my lovely Family, my hubby of 5 years Les. He's a team leader in a factory, that manufactures circuit boards for lighting. He's xbox 360 obsessed, if not at work or out with the kids will be found infront of the tv, cup of tea at his side and controller in hand. (Yawn!) Absolutely technology minded, builds 'super computers' for something to do. Does not understand my 'good life' approach to life, we're like chalk and cheese, but somehow it works. We're happy.
There's littlest monster Jessie, major girly girl. 'Like, totally...!' She's 5 going on 25. Loves clothes, lip-gloss, and music. My main helper down the allotment. Can always be relied on to make me smile, has some of the funniest sayings known to man and has the most unique mind, it makes mine boggle...
Then there's the middle monster, Dan the man, he's 8, like his dad a total gadget and technology freak. Loves anything to do with construction. Have seen him sit for 2 full days building a perfect pirate ship out of lego, with complete working parts, it absolutely amazed me! He's a funny 'old' soul is our Dan, he doesn't like fuss, likes to keep himself to himself but still enjoys a good fun fight with his Dad or Granda and a cuddle from his Mam and Nanna...
Oldest monster Cameron is 11, just started secondary school. Me and his dad have been together since he was 9month old so it's hard not to think of him as one of my own. He comes to see us 3 weekends out of 4 and usually half of the holidays. He only lives 3 mile away so it's not far to travel to see each other. Cameron is very shy, unusually polite for a boy of his age but still a monster. His usual quip when his Dad is taking him home is that he'll be over next weekend 'to annoy' me somemore. He's also into technology (see a pattern forming here...) he loves being outside exploring too, he has a kind of daredevil side to him where you can see in his face he wants to try something or to push things to the next level, he usually does.
So that's it, apart from our 3 cats, Muffin, Rex and Matilda, our fish Dumbledore and the 2 guinea pigs, Lola and Tinkerbell... those are my monsters...
